Rasih Ozturkmen is the Hub Manager and Senior Vice President of Li & Fung and is part of the global senior corporate management team of the Hong Kong-headquartered multinational group, which is recognized as the world’s leader in consumer goods design, development, sourcing and distribution, with over 300 offices and distribution centers in more than 40 economies spanning across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.Ozturkmen manages a complex operation with a corporate team of 60 people and is responsible for the management of operations in Turkey, Portugal, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan since 2012.Prior to his leadership position in Li&Fung, Özturkmen worked in HSBC between years of 2002 and 2012 in different positions in different countries. He started his career in HSBC, in Wales, United Kingdom as Commercial Development Manager, then he moved to Hong Kong where he performed various roles in HSBC Hong Hong, such as Project Manager, Management Relationship Manager and Manager Credit Risk. Ozturkmen then has worked in HSBC, New York in various positions such as Head of Exports, Senior Regional Trade Manager. Özturkmen has returned to Turkey and become Head of Sales in HSBC, Istanbul between 2010 and 2012. Rasih Özturkmen studied in Robert College and had his bachelor’s degree in International Relations in Bilkent University. Özturkmen achieved his master degree in International Business and Politics in NYU in 2002. In August 2013, he participated in Fung Leadership Program at Sloane School of Management in MIT. Rasih Ozturkmen is currently Cochairman for the Foreign Affairs and EU Work group of YASED International Investors Association, YPO (Young Presidents Organization) Member, Executive Board Member of the Turkish – Hong Kong Business Council, Member of Princeton Club in New York, Member of Kemer Country Golf and Country Club and also former Member of the British Chamber of Commerce and the Hong Kong Football Club in Hong Kong.Rasih Özturkmen knows Turkish as his native language, speaks English fluently and German basically.
