Bora Oruç is a graduate of Middle East Technical University, Department of Economics. After graduation in 1999, he started working for the Capital Markets Board Of Turkey. Mr. Oruç served in various departments of the CMB and worked as an Advisor to the Chairman in 2013. Since April 2014 he has been serving as the Vice Chairman of the CMB. His areas of responsibility cover regulation and oversight of investment firms, institutional investors, exchanges & financial market infrastructures and implementation of the Istanbul International Finance Center Project. Mr. Oruç holds an MBA Degree from University of Cambridge, UK. He is married with one daughter.
